This specialized training session is designed exclusively for mission-driven aging service providers, offering invaluable tools and strategies to enhance your resilience and compassion in the face of adversity.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Utilize specific skills to support one’s self when feeling overwhelmed, short-tempered, or angry
- Recall approaches to be used when faced with difficult behaviors from staff or residents
- Recognize the importance of healthy boundaries and implement them in day to day practice

- Provide simple, effective strategies that may be used in support of mental and emotional health
- Provide tools and approaches to be used in support of residents/staff who may be escalated
- Create a highly engaging session that encourages open conversation and connection among all participants
