Call for Volunteers

Become a LeadingAge Illinois Member Volunteer Leader

If you’re interested in moving the needle in aging services, consider submitting a volunteer application to become a member of a LeadingAge Illinois cabinet or select committee. Cabinets and committees provide leadership, support and guidance to meet the overall mission, services, policies, programs and goals of LeadingAge Illinois. They serve as representatives of its members – achieving results in their specialty areas and in support of the Board of Directors.

The nomination period for applications is now closed. If you submit during a closed nomination time, your application will be held for the next open call period.

One of LeadingAge Illinois Strategic Pillars is to help our members grow their workforce pipeline.  To help us accomplish this, we would like to form a new Workforce Cabinet designed to work on all aspects of workforce issues, challenges, and trends in senior living.

If you’re a provider member interested in having a positive impact on the workforce challenges facing communities and service providers, we encourage you to apply to serve on the Workforce Cabinet!

The workforce shortage is one of the most significant challenges facing our communities.  As a Cabinet member, you’ll network with others to help identify solutions to the workforce issues you and others are facing. The Cabinet will address all things workforce-related and will help LeadingAge Illinois stay focused and engaged on this very important issue to ensure our member network thrives and together, work towards effective solutions to workforce challenges in senior living.

LeadingAge Illinois has now expanded the number of people that can serve from the same multi-site company. We now allow up to two people per location to serve regardless of their affiliation with a corporate parent.
