Hosting a Legislative Visit as Important as Ever
Since the inception of the LeadingAge Illinois Partners in Quality program, members have hosted nearly 800 legislative visits at their communities.  The visits help legislators understand the issues impacting providers and residents.  They also give them an opportunity to see, firsthand what quality older adult care and services looks like in action.  With the last two years being the most challenging in the history of the field, hosting a legislative visit is a vital part of our grassroots advocacy program.  If you are interested in hosting a visit, contact Jason Speaks, director of government relations.
